Position Overview

As the Head of Capital Markets, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial transactions, assessing market dynamics, negotiating agreements, and providing strategic direction to clients. This position demands exceptional leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Based in our global offices, you will engage closely with headquarters and international teams, focusing on executing cross-border transactions for our clients. You will report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relations:

  • Guide clients through SPAC, Pre-IPO, or Traditional IPO processes.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with clients, identifying their needs and offering customized execution solutions.

Transaction Oversight:

  • Manage and support the complete transaction lifecycle, from IPO term sheet development to financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure timely execution while complying with regulatory standards and company policies.

Project Management:

  • Lead the transaction process from the Letter of Intent stage to closure.
  • Engage in client meetings and provide negotiation support throughout the transaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, trading, research, and compliance, to enhance execution strategies.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices, offering strategic insights to senior management.

Team Leadership:

  • Guide and mentor a team of execution professionals, providing support and feedback to foster high performance and ongoing development.
  • Promote innovation and process improvements within the execution team to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.

Vendor Management:

  • Coordinate with service vendors, including auditors, legal teams, underwriters, transfer agents, and insurance brokers.
  • Maintain open communication with all parties to ensure seamless transactions and documentation.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare investigative reports and data analyses for clients, including registration statements and industry insights.
  • Participate in key client meetings, providing timely support in response to regulatory updates.

External Representation:

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our brand and capabilities in the capital markets sector.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant investment banking experience with a focus on execution.

2. Proven experience in client engagement, demonstrating the ability to cultivate strong relationships.

3. A successful track record in managing complex transactions and client interactions.

4. Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that encourages diversity and growth.

7. Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
