Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Support Specialist, your role will be vital in facilitating the clerical operations within our facility. Reporting to the Administrative Assistant, your primary focus will be on managing documentation related to the medical records of youth across multiple units. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the management of medical records for all incoming and outgoing youth.
  • Conducting thorough audits, chart thinning, and forms management in compliance with established medical record standards.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of office equipment to maintain efficient operations.
  • Handling a continuous flow of documentation through tasks such as filing, updating records, processing forms, and managing phone communications.
  • Participating in clerical projects as assigned by the Administrative Assistant and upper management.

Position Details

Purpose of the Role

This position is accountable for independently executing a wide range of clerical functions and ensuring the smooth flow and completion of administrative tasks within the assigned area.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of general clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience handling confidential information and managing medical records.
