    Summary: The Healthcare Support Specialist (HSS) plays a crucial role in the patient care team.
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the HSS carries out specific clinical responsibilities and aids the Providers to ensure that each patient receives prompt and effective care. The HSS upholds strict patient confidentiality at all times. Additionally, the HSS may undertake general clerical or administrative tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Medical Assisting Certification
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medications
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working with electronic health records
- 1 year of experience in an office-based physician practice
