Job Title: Receptionist

St. Joseph the Worker is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to provide administrative support to our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the office is ready for business daily, including setting up the coffee station, posting office signage, and stocking supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and guests, determining the purpose of each visit and directing them to the appropriate location.
  • Prioritize and manage phone calls, voicemails, and messages, ensuring timely responses and efficient communication.
  • Receive and distribute mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries, and maintain the voicemail system.
  • Retrieve and file client paperwork in Salesforce, and respond to inquiries regarding services offered by St. Joseph the Worker.
  • Order and coordinate office supplies and delivery to both office locations, and plan quarterly employee engagement events within budget.
  • Manage conference room reservations and meeting meals, and maintain front- and back-office cleanliness daily.
  • Operate office equipment, including printers and personal desktop computers, as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Clerical or related administrative experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to type at least 45 WPM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to hire.
Reporting and Evaluation:

Reports directly to the Human Resources Generalist. Annual review to be conducted with the Human Resources Generalist to review employee's performance over the past year, including proficiencies in managing daily office functions, client and visitor interactions, phone and voicemail system prioritization, and value added to the team.
