Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit team at Capitol Hill Medical Center. As a CDU RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality urgent and emergent nursing care to patients of all ages and acuities.
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience as a registered nurse in an emergency room or acute care environment.
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse License (Virginia) within 6 months of hire AND Registered Nurse License (Maryland) within 6 months of hire.
  • Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire AND Registered Nurse License (District of Columbia) within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with patient populations ranging from infant to geriatrics.
  • Experience in IV therapy.
  • BSN preferred.
