Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients, confirms image requirements, and explains procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
  • Reviews patient medical history, confirms consent forms, and positions patients for examination.
  • Operates CT equipment, adjusts settings, and monitors patient condition during procedures.
  • Maintains equipment, examination rooms, and inventory of supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Prepares patient information files and submits reports, documenting examination results and patient data.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.
  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT, with certification obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program and high school diploma or GED required.
  • Radiologic Technologist License (District of Columbia) and Basic Life Support certification required.
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in computer software and knowledge of customer-focused service requirements. Specialized training in computerized tomography and excellent interpersonal skills are highly desirable.
