We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente's Capitol Hill Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography examinations of patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Greets patients, confirms image requirements, and explains procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
- Reviews patient medical history, confirms consent forms, and positions patients for examination.
- Operates CT equipment, adjusts settings, and monitors patient condition during procedures.
- Maintains equipment, examination rooms, and inventory of supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Prepares patient information files and submits reports, documenting examination results and patient data.
- Minimum two years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.
- One year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT, with certification obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program and high school diploma or GED required.
- Radiologic Technologist License (District of Columbia) and Basic Life Support certification required.
Proficiency in computer software and knowledge of customer-focused service requirements. Specialized training in computerized tomography and excellent interpersonal skills are highly desirable.
