We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Capitol Hill Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography examinations of patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Greets patients, confirms image requirements, and explains procedures to patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Reviews patients' medical histories, confirms consent forms, and positions patients on examination tables.
- Operates CT equipment, adjusting settings to meet imaging requirements, and maintains equipment and examination rooms.
- Prepares patient information files, submits reports, and performs other related duties as directed.
- Minimum two years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.
- One year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT, with certification obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program and high school diploma or GED.
- Radiologic Technologist License (District of Columbia) and Basic Life Support certification.
Proficiency in computer software, knowledge of customer-focused service requirements, and specialized training in computerized tomography.
