We are seeking an Evening Radiology Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate activities during the second shift within our Radiology Department, specifically in areas such as MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for after-hours inquiries related to Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
- Ensure operational excellence by establishing and monitoring processes and performance metrics.
- Guide daily operations, including imaging for both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as support for Trauma, Operating Room, and Emergency Department needs.
Work collaboratively with various teams to develop and implement best practice initiatives aimed at enhancing operational metrics. Regularly review and analyze the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard to track progress and achievements.
Quality and Safety FocusThis role emphasizes a strong commitment to quality and safety. The supervisor will participate in the Quality Committee, reviewing and implementing relevant policies and procedures.
Leadership and ComplianceDemonstrate strong leadership in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and readiness for The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.
Additional ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Supervisor may also perform diagnostic studies across various patient demographics as needed. This role is essential in overseeing daily departmental activities to maintain patient flow, optimize staff productivity, and ensure the highest standards of clinical quality.
As a content expert, you will assist staff and administration by addressing and resolving technical issues or concerns that may arise.
QualificationsApplicants should possess an Associate's Degree, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred. A graduate of an accredited Radiography program is required, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates must hold a valid New Jersey Radiology Technology License and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
