The Centennial School District is in search of a dynamic and experienced leader to fill the role of Chief Human Resources Officer.

The Chief Human Resources Officer will oversee the strategic planning, coordination, and management of all Human Resource operations within the district. This role is essential in fostering positive relationships with all employee groups, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the educational system, and thereby optimizing the learning environment for students through proficient management of all district personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: A Master's Degree in Educational Administration or a related field is required. An Oregon Administrator License is mandatory.
  • Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful leadership within educational settings, demonstrating culturally responsive practices. Experience at the district level is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in facilitating and coordinating evaluation programs for both certified and classified staff. Capable of developing and implementing a mentorship program for novice teachers. Strong counseling and advisory skills for applicants and staff at various employment stages. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with FMLA/OFLA, workers' compensation, ADA, and other personnel regulations to ensure compliance within the district. Understanding of the processes involved in the issuance and renewal of state licenses.
  • Ability: Proficiency in a second language is preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate meetings and collaborative teams.
