Summary:
The Human Resources Intern is tasked with delivering a range of HR services, including employee relations, recruitment, and attendance management, while ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant legal standards.
Assignment Duration: Options for 3-month, 6-month, or one-year assignments are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and oversee performance evaluations for hourly staff.
- Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to guarantee timely completion of training programs.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to all personnel.
- Manage the recruitment process for hourly positions, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates. Maintain the applicant tracking system and ensure prompt communication with applicants.
- Conduct orientations for new hires and exit interviews; organize employee meetings and events as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized employee records.
- Monitor attendance and enforce attendance policies.
- Prepare reports and data as requested.
- Create presentations and informational materials as needed.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in human resources or a related discipline.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in critical problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership skills focused on achieving results.
