Overview:
Dental Care Alliance is seeking a skilled Patient Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling incoming phone calls. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet patients, acknowledge their presence, and provide a positive experience.
- Respond to Patient Questions: Answer patient inquiries and concerns in accordance with our policies.
- Answering Telephones: Respond to incoming calls and provide assistance as needed.
- Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments for patients and maintain accurate records.
- Maintaining Appointment Book: Ensure accurate and up-to-date appointment records.
- Confirming Appointments: Confirm appointments with patients and update records accordingly.
- Follow-up on No Shows/Cancellations: Follow up with patients who have missed or cancelled appointments.
- Register Patients: Register patients on sign-in sheets and maintain accurate records.
- Post Charges and Payments: Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
- Checking Voice-mail: Check voice-mail messages on a daily basis.
- Maintaining a Clean and Friendly Waiting Area: Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office is preferred.
- Knowledge of Insurance Plans: Knowledge of HMO/PPO insurance plans is a plus.
- Telephone Experience: Experience answering telephones is required.
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
