About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at CAE Flight Operations Solutions. As a key member of our techno-functional team, you will be responsible for supporting mission-critical software for a federal government contract and solving complex engineering problems to support our customers' business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support to our customers
  • Make recommendations to customers in areas of scheduling and crew assignments
  • Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts to support our software solutions
  • Develop business requirements, change requests, acceptance criteria, business test cases, and release notes in support of implementations
  • Interface with all levels of the customer unit, including end users, software and infrastructure engineers, program managers, and client management
  • Install and test releases in multiple environments
  • Provide user training and create documentation for new functionality
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to support our customers
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork skills and work efficiently with minimal oversight
  • Ensure timely delivery and completion of projects
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to secure Public Trust Clearance
  • Must reside in the DMV area and be able to commute to customer sites on all workdays
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends and have flexible work hours during application maintenance events
  • In-depth experience of UNIX commands
  • Working knowledge of Oracle database and PL/SQL programming
  • 3+ years of related experience as a business analyst with working experience in CREW or Airline Operations Management or similar experience
  • Previous experience with UNIX ksh and csh shell scripting
  • Airline Crew Scheduling experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple issues simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify problems, root causes, and apply solutions proactively
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Previous experience with AirCrews, Crew Control, or Crew Manager
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience strongly desired
