Senior Business Analyst

Na Ali'i Consulting & Sales, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Navy Personnel and Pay (NP2) Project Delivery Team. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence a minimum of two days per week. The Senior Business Analyst will be integral to an Agile project team, tasked with understanding, evaluating, and synthesizing intricate technical information. This role will also support project management functions by applying PMI principles to oversee and report on various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Planning, Implementation, Testing, and Documentation. Additionally, the analyst will assess business workflows and pinpoint areas for enhancement, ensure timely delivery of project documentation, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and assist in change management initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesThe following outlines the essential functions of this position, although additional duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Utilize PMI Project Management principles to manage, communicate, and report on project objectives, timelines, scope, risks, and modifications related to client deliverables.
- Design and implement data management strategies that facilitate metrics-driven decision-making across all facets of the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze and interpret complex data trends to generate reports and professional documents that effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Create visually appealing dashboards and charts that convey technical project information to enhance understanding among stakeholders.
- Develop and update artifacts that reflect key performance indicators, providing regular program metrics updates, including PowerPoint presentations.
- Deliver high-quality outputs with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring documentation is produced with minimal errors.
- Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives to evaluate and enhance data management and program processes overseen by the Project Delivery Team.
- Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-team training.
- Conduct thorough reviews of project artifacts in preparation for client release.
- Select the most effective communication methods to convey content, utilizing graphics, diagrams, and charts as needed.
- Participate in daily team meetings, client interactions, and milestone discussions to maintain awareness of project progress.
- Exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving abilities when addressing challenges.

Education/Experience: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with five to ten years of relevant professional experience. The preferred candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information.
Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with Project Management principles related to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in Planning, Implementation, Testing, and Documentation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik and/or PowerBI.
- Proficiency in the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr).
- Background in projects involving direct client engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
Clearance: A background investigation at the T3 level is necessary, as this position is not classified. U.S. citizenship is required.
