Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst/Quality Assurance Specialist/Project Coordinator to join our team at the National Apartment Association. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis (45%):
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document, analyze, and create test case scenarios.
    • Assist with scope definition and change management.
    • Obtain sign-off on systems requirements and technical documentation.
    • Prepare, review, revise, and format technical documents and information for non-technical users.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • System Quality Assurance (45%):
    • Develop and lead the quality assurance process for the information technology team.
    • Conduct comprehensive QA testing of all solutions implemented on the Salesforce Platform.
    • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
    • Collaborate with the Salesforce development team to identify, prioritize, and resolve bugs and issues.
    • Perform regression testing to ensure that new developments do not negatively impact existing functionality.
    • Assess service levels and system performance.
    • Evaluate and report on trends; recognize anomalies, identify potential causes, and propose solutions as appropriate.
  • Project Coordination (10%):
    • Assist in the creation of project plans, agendas, minutes, and documentation.
    • Assist in managing project plans and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of IT projects.
    • Provide input into project communications for the organization and leadership.
    • Assist in maintaining Information Technology's project management technology and resources.
    Requirements
    • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or project coordination.
    • 1 year of experience in business analysis.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team.
    • Ability to handle complex functional requirements, manage and prioritize tasks, set goals, and work independently as well as in a group.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and customer service skills are essential, as is diligent follow-through on tasks.
    • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in an interrupt-driven environment.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • High degree of professionalism and accuracy.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in project coordination or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in business analysis or equivalent experience.
    • 1-2 years of experience in third-party / vendor management.
    • Experience with Zoho, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar.
    • Experience in waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
    • Experience with associations, credentialing, or nonprofit organizations.
    Salary Range

$65-70,000

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment

Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
