  • Help with material procurement as directed by the project manager.
  • Facilitate the coordination of project activities to ensure timely progress and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Support the project manager in directing and assisting the field team to manage project deliverables and address issues as they arise.
  • Assist in monitoring labor reports, job cost reports, pre-job planning, and two-week forecasts.
  • Review technical specifications and material submittal data sheets to confirm that procured equipment and materials meet project specifications.
  • Assist in managing the RFI process effectively.
  • Prepare and submit operation and maintenance manuals and other required documentation.
  • Draft change orders for projects, seeking necessary approvals and managing changes to maintain project profitability.
  • Participate in pre-bid tours and meetings as required.
  • Follow up with General Contractors/Engineers regarding budgeting inquiries and pricing as necessary.
  • Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, drawings, proposals, takeoffs, and other documentation, attending pre-bid meetings, and gathering quotes to assess the scope of work and required resources.
  • Assist in organizing pre-construction meetings for awarded projects to ensure effective communication and coordination among the project manager, foreman, and field staff.
  • Collaborate with the project manager assistant (PMA) to secure necessary permits and licenses.
  • Help manage costs by tracking labor and material expenditures.
Additional Information:
  • Work is conducted in both an office environment and on-site.
  • Occasional travel to project sites may be necessary.
  • This position involves verbal, written, and face-to-face communication with clients and field personnel.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Two-year or four-year degree in construction management or engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
  • 0-5 years of experience in construction administration and project management support.
Skills and Competencies:
