We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with our clients and project managers to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal, and other requirements.
- Site Management: Coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Scheduling: Prepare and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule for all activities on the job site, submitting it to the Project Manager and/or Prime contractor weekly.
- Quality Control: Manage quality control by confirming that all equipment and material installed is what was submitted by subcontractor.
- Reporting: Maintain daily reports to submit to the Project Manager and/or Prime contractor daily.
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant construction experience.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of skilled trades, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills with various parties, including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
- Competitive Salary: Extremely competitive base salary (70-90k) - based on experience.
- Benefits: Fully-functioning employee profit sharing program, 2.5+ weeks PTO (negotiable), bonus program, 100% paid healthcare, and daycare stipend for those with families.
