About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Beacon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support our company goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Project Scheduling: Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Project Monitoring: Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Problem Solving: Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Project Evaluation: Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality in all aspects of work.
  • Resource Allocation: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals within established project timelines.
  • Budgeting: Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Time Tracking: Track and monitor project member time and associated costs.
  • Staffing: Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
  • Recruitment: Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during the project cycle.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from beginning to end.
  • Project Planning Documents: Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Task Delegation: Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Project Dependencies: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Change Management: Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
