Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Clerk to join our staff at Specialty Corrugated Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, generating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures.

Key Responsibilities
General Bookkeeping including but not limited to:
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to perform financial tasks.
  • Manage and reconcile financial accounts, including cash, credit cards, and bank accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Accurately process and manage weekly payroll and HR information.
  • Maintain high confidentiality and ensure the security of all financial and HR information.
  • Entry of quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing, payables, receiving and tracking of purchased material.
  • Generate required shipping documents.
  • Distribution of appropriate internal documents.
  • New customer/vendor setup documentation and correspondence.
  • Vendor expense account distribution.
  • Preparation of checks.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Answer phones and direct calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organize and file project information.

Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An ideal candidate will have experience in the corrugated packaging industry (but not required).
  • An Associates degree related to accounting is required.
  • At least two years of experience using QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong work ethic, math skills with a high attention to detail.
