About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at SPX. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end balancing and closing procedures
  • Support fixed asset accounting and reconcile and balance transactions with corporate/home office and other intercompany businesses monthly
  • Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, production, and sales, to gather relevant financial data and ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven record in assisting operational leadership with understanding and improving processes to support bottom line results
  • Ability to manage a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally
  • The use of ERP systems (preferably SAP) to help drive performance
