Position Summary:

As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will play a vital role in our service department, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient operations. You will act as the primary point of contact between customers and our expert technicians, facilitating accurate diagnostics, timely service, and effective repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers warmly and professionally.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations of recommended services and repairs.
  • Communicate estimated costs and secure customer approvals for services.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and service bay logistics.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure prompt repair completion.
  • Keep customers informed about their vehicle status throughout the service process.
  • Provide realistic repair timelines and communicate any delays.
  • Maintain detailed service records for each customer.
  • Prepare and clarify invoices for customers, detailing services rendered.
  • Process payments and address any billing questions.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and service offerings.
  • Educate customers on maintenance schedules and recommended services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor.
  • General understanding of vehicle mechanical systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All applicants must successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lexus or Toyota vehicles.
  • Prior dealership advisory and sales experience is a plus.
