Key Responsibilities:- Commences automotive services and repairs by identifying performance issues and requested services.
- Confirms warranty and service contract coverage, prepares estimates, generates repair orders, and maintains strong customer relationships and records.
- Identifies automotive issues and services by attentively listening to customer descriptions, clarifying problem details, conducting inspections, taking test drives, reviewing vehicle maintenance histories, and assessing service schedules.
- Creates cost estimates by calculating materials, supplies, and labor.
- Determines customer payment amounts, including any deductibles.
- Documents repair orders (RO) by detailing symptoms, identified problems, and necessary repairs and services.
- Secures customer approval by obtaining signatures and entering RO into the service database.
- Fosters customer relationships by explaining estimates and anticipated vehicle return times, securing customer consent for estimates, providing contact information, addressing inquiries, and coordinating towing and temporary transportation.
- Maintains accurate automotive records by documenting issues and planned corrective actions.
- Enhances professional knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and reviewing manufacturer publications.
- Contributes to the organization's reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests and seeking opportunities to enhance job contributions.
$30,000 - $60,000 - based on experience
