Position Overview

Project Summary:

This position entails assisting individuals in navigating health care coverage options and guiding them through the enrollment process for plans that meet their specific requirements.


Equipment Specifications:

Applicants must provide their own device (laptop or desktop) equipped with a camera, USB headset, and Ethernet connection.


Working Hours:

Available shifts are between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, full-time.


Work Environment:

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from home within the contiguous United States.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming inquiries from consumers, including the general public and prospective enrollees, while adhering to established performance standards and confidentiality protocols.
  • Effectively manage all inbound and outbound communications.
  • Document and track all inquiries using the appropriate systems.
  • Process new health care coverage applications via phone, which includes assessing household income, determining eligibility, and enrolling consumers in suitable health plans.
  • Direct or refer consumers to the appropriate departments as per established guidelines.
  • Manage life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods as necessary.
  • Assist callers with requests for materials through mail, email, or download.
  • Escalate issues or calls to the relevant personnel for resolution when required.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed, maintaining current knowledge of all programs and systems.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient data entry and telephone communication skills.
