Role Overview

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in delivering Process Training, Process Control, and Process Optimization to support Field Service Representatives and Clients throughout the commissioning, operational, and warranty phases of Water Treatment Projects. As a Support Specialist, your responsibility will be to ensure adherence to applicable EH&S and departmental procedures, checklists, and documentation by site personnel.
  • Guarantee that Water Treatment Projects/Plants function in alignment with process requirements during commissioning, performance testing, and warranty periods.
  • Ensure that complex systems, which may include Conventional Technologies, Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, Ion Exchange Units, Thermal processes, and other technologies, operate within established design parameters.
  • Proactively assess Process Design Parameters, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Mass Balances, and Performance Test Requirements prior to the pre-commissioning phase to anticipate necessary training, tools, and/or laboratory equipment for successful startup and operational activities.
  • Collaborate with Sub-Suppliers, Contractors, and/or Consultants to ensure that normal, transient, and/or extreme operating conditions are met and to proactively identify necessary adjustments.
  • Effectively communicate technical solutions to key stakeholders to facilitate prompt project execution.
  • Assist Clients in adopting best operating practices, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and providing training during commissioning and normal operations.
  • Participate in Client SATs, HAZOP, LOPA, and related Control Systems reviews.
  • Provide both in-office and on-site technical support during installation, commissioning phases, project closeout, and warranty periods.
  • Collect and analyze relevant operational data from various sources, including control systems, databases, log sheets, daily operation logs, and operator interactions to troubleshoot operational challenges.
  • Work closely with the Process, Warranty, and Quality Teams to ensure timely resolution of design and/or manufacturing defect issues.
  • Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000.00
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a minimum of 5 years of experience with Veolia Water's water treatment equipment, including Filters, Incinerators, Clarifiers, Ultrafiltration, Evaporators, Crystallizers, Digestors, and wastewater and industrial treatment plants.
  • Possession of a valid passport and driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America and potentially to other global locations.
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and make informed decisions.
  • Focus on building strong customer relationships, both external and internal.
