Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our staff, you will provide administrative support and technical assistance to our TPA Services Division staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distribute incoming documents and correspondence to the appropriate parties.
  • Answer general phone calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Process referrals to providers for medical services and other related tasks.
  • Manage and process payments for various services, including medical expenses and mileage reimbursement.
  • Reimburse claimants for out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly reports for the TPA Division Chief.
  • Develop a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Compose letters and other written correspondence as needed.
  • Order supplies and materials as required.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the TPA Services Division.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience as a Clerical Assistant 1 or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
