INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER - ONSITE


POSITION SUMMARY
The Information Systems Manager will oversee the installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and management of the company's information systems and department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervisory Role: Conduct interviews and hire IT personnel.
  • Organize and manage IT staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and commendations in line with company policies.
  • Non-Supervisory Role: Ensure the stable operation of the company's network and databases.
  • Regularly schedule and execute updates and functionality tests; identify and resolve issues during testing.
  • Develop, manage, and implement hardware maintenance, software support, network and remote backups, upgrades, and Internet support.
  • Generate periodic reports regarding IT functions and performance.
  • Analyze and recommend software and hardware solutions to enhance productivity across all networks.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external computer support vendors.
  • Manage telephone system operations.
  • Oversee network and building security.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking systems, including LAN and WAN.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Familiarity with Infor SyteLine 10 ERP software.
  • Ability to quickly learn a variety of general and specialized company applications, software, and hardware.
  • Working knowledge of various computer operating systems and interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of information technology procedures and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of discretion and integrity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, Information Security, Computer Programming, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in Information Technology is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in Management Information Systems, with at least five years in a supervisory capacity, is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be able to climb stairs, use a keyboard, sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, see, hear, read/speak English fluently, and lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
