Job Summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Office Coordinator Float to join our team. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences and providing top-notch administrative support to our physical therapists and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and physical therapy staff, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.
  • Manage clinic scheduling, ensuring patients are matched with the best clinician for their needs and optimizing patient flow.
  • Coordinate new patient onboarding, including facility tours, data gathering, and physical therapy staff introductions.
  • Verify patient medical insurance information and manage patient insurance requirements, ensuring patients understand their benefits and options for payments.
  • Communicate patient progress to physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters, and attorneys on behalf of physical therapists.
  • Assist with managing patient expectations based on clinical findings, including frequency and duration of treatment, progression toward functional goals, and discharge planning.
  • Organize cultural moments to recognize and appreciate patients' physical therapy goals and progress.
  • Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices within the clinic.
  • Provide general office, receptionist, and clerical support to assigned location.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
  • Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred
