As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing innovative solutions for IT infrastructure environments, addressing complex business challenges across various initiatives. Key Responsibilities

The Principal Azure Engineer/Architect role provides the opportunity to shape your daily work while collaborating with dedicated professionals to fulfill the following duties:

  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of advanced principles and techniques to create groundbreaking solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
  • Comprehend the comprehensive performance of IT platforms.
  • Establish and uphold policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions, identifying and developing strategies to address long-term trends or challenges.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering infrastructure within the Azure cloud environment.
  • 6+ years of experience in architectural solutions within the Azure Cloud.
  • Proven experience in directing technical strategy and communicating vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in automating and scaling infrastructure to align with cloud capacity demands.
  • Ability to interface with and advise executive stakeholders.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformational projects across the enterprise.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft and Azure products.
  • Proficient in managing project plans, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including copywriting and strategic communication planning.
  • Operational excellence, focusing on improving and overseeing operations.
  • Ability to identify causes of operational errors and implement corrective actions.
  • Product development skills, including designing products, developing roadmaps, and prototyping.
  • Capability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-driven automation.
  • Experience in identifying and selecting strategic options and resources to achieve defined objectives.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including stakeholder engagement and network building.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Azure Services: AD, CDN, Data Factory, Functions, CosmosDB, etc.
  • AWS/GCP knowledge.
  • Programming languages: Python, PowerShell, Java, .NET, Bash.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
