Key Responsibilities
The Principal Azure Engineer/Architect role provides you with the autonomy to shape your daily tasks while collaborating with dedicated professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing your extensive knowledge of advanced principles and techniques to create groundbreaking solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
- Comprehending the comprehensive performance metrics of IT platforms.
- Establishing and upholding policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitoring performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions while identifying and developing strategies to address long-term trends or challenges.
Qualifications
Essential Experience
- 8+ years of experience in engineering infrastructure within the Azure cloud environment.
- 6+ years of experience in architectural solutions within the Azure Cloud.
- Proven ability to direct technical strategy and communicate vision across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in automating infrastructure scaling to align with cloud capacity demands.
- Experience in advising and interfacing with executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide transformational initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Microsoft and Azure products.
- Proficient in managing project plans, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including copywriting and planning.
- Operational excellence in overseeing and improving processes.
- Ability to identify causes of operational errors and implement corrective actions.
- Product development skills, including designing products and developing product roadmaps.
- Capability to transform business processes through BPA, RPA, or other technology-driven automation.
- Experience in identifying strategic options and allocating resources to meet defined objectives.
- Relationship management skills, including engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
Technical Proficiencies
- Azure Services including AD, CDN, Data Factory, Functions, CosmosDB, etc.
- AWS/GCP knowledge.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, .NET, and Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies.
