Hiring Manager Team Overview:
The Authentication team for Azure Government Secret and Top Secret Clouds is dedicated to various services that facilitate authentication in the cloud, including: Azure AAD Gateway, Evolved Security Token Service (eSTS), and Directory Proxy (DPX). We seek engineers who are enthusiastic about developing cutting-edge services that enhance Azure as a platform for developers. As a Cloud Solutions Engineer within this team, you will engage in the entire lifecycle of service development, encompassing design, coding, testing, and operating hyper-scale services in a production environment. Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with programming in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements:
Security Clearance: Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this role. This includes, but is not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • Candidates must possess an active TS clearance and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role requires candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action, including termination.
  • Clearance Verification: This position necessitates successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be required to provide clearance verification information prior to an employment offer.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will require passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports U.S. federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions as required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport or other approved documents, or verified U.S. government clearance.
