YOUR CONTRIBUTION
The Principal Azure Engineer/Architect position (Hybrid) provides you with the opportunity to shape your workday while collaborating with dedicated professionals to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of advanced principles and methodologies to create innovative solutions for application design and IT infrastructure.
- Comprehend the complete performance lifecycle of IT platforms.
- Establish and uphold policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Track performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions, identifying and formulating strategies to address long-term trends or challenges.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 8+ years of experience in engineering infrastructure within the Azure cloud environment.
- 6+ years of experience in architectural solutions within the Azure Cloud.
- Proven experience in directing technical strategies and communicating vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in automating and scaling infrastructure to align with cloud capacity demands.
- Experience in advising and interfacing with executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformational projects across the enterprise.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
SKILLS
- Expertise in Microsoft and Azure technologies.
- Proficient in managing project plans, resources, and personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including planning and disseminating information.
- Operational excellence in overseeing and enhancing operations.
- Ability to diagnose operational errors and implement corrective measures.
- Experience in product development, including designing products and creating product roadmaps.
- Capability to transform business processes through BPA, RPA, or other technology-driven automation.
- Experience in identifying strategic options and resources to achieve defined objectives.
- Relationship management skills, including engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
TECHNOLOGICAL PROFICIENCIES
- Azure Services, including AD, CDN, Data Factory, Functions, CosmosDB, etc.
- AWS/GCP platforms.
- Programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, .NET, and Bash.
- CI/CD methodologies.
