Job Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join a premier home construction firm in the United States, contributing to the enhancement of their cybersecurity framework.

This is a specialized position where you will oversee and configure various security technologies (SIEM, IDR, DLP, etc.) for a large-scale organization.

Your role will also encompass optimizing Azure Cloud Security, Web Application Firewalls, and integrating security within the DevSecOps pipeline. This position is senior-level, and candidates should be comfortable working autonomously.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, configure, develop, and improve a variety of security technologies and platforms for the enterprise, including SIEM, IDR, DLP, and Cloud Security.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Cloud, Azure Purview, Sentinel SIEM, Zscaler, Tenable, Qualys, among others.
  • Assist in the formulation, execution, and management of security protocols and controls to safeguard systems, infrastructure, data, and security technologies.
  • Play a pivotal role in our Data Security Initiative by engineering the deployment, configuration, and management of data protection technologies and data classification.
  • Collaborate on security engineering projects involving other cybersecurity platforms such as Security Information and Event Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Evaluate and implement new security technologies, tools, and methodologies.

The compensation range for this role is between $100,000 and $170,000, based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering.
  • Proficient in the deployment, configuration, and management of a diverse array of security solutions and platforms, including DLP, CASB, SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, or MDM.
  • Strong eagerness to learn new technologies and advance as an engineer and security professional.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, security process engineering, and operational excellence.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Technical experience with Microsoft cloud security technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining web application firewalls (WAF) and networking technologies.
  • Security engineering experience with common cybersecurity platforms and solutions, including Security Information and Event Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the DevSecOps pipeline and associated security components, such as SAST, DAST, SCA.
  • Proficiency in multiple scripting languages, including Python and PowerShell.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as Microsoft Azure SC100, SC200, or SC300.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, ISSEP, or ISSAP.
