The **Talent Acquisition Specialist** plays a crucial role in supporting the Talent Director to enhance staffing efficiency and maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for leadership roles. This position is dedicated to fostering leadership development within the organization. The ideal candidate will embrace this mission and actively participate in our Leadership Development Program. As a member of our Leadership Team, hands-on training in operational roles is essential to assist during peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing Duties:
  • Maintain regular communication with the Operations team to understand staffing requirements.
  • Screen candidates and coordinate phone interviews.
  • Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Assist with new hire documentation and onboarding processes.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees.
Recruitment Duties:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Stay informed about current recruitment trends and techniques.
  • Attract high-quality talent to the organization.
  • Participate in job fairs and career events to promote opportunities.
  • Comprehend staffing needs across various departments.
  • Build and nurture talent networks within the community.
  • Provide weekly updates to the People Director regarding recruitment progress.
This role includes:
  • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week (excluding breaks).
  • 20 hours dedicated to operational duties (working alongside the team).
  • 20 hours allocated for administrative tasks.
  • Opportunity for overtime as needed to support business operations.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly wage ranging from $22 to $24.
  • 10 days of paid time off (5 days available within the first six months).
  • Health care coverage for individual employees.
  • Complimentary meals during breaks.
  • Two uniforms provided.
  • Rotating holidays off, including either Christmas or Thanksgiving.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and possessing a strong work ethic.
  • Engage with guests to deliver prompt, friendly, and accurate service.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate dependability with a service-oriented mindset.
