Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist or Senior Recruitment Consultant is tasked with the sourcing and selection of both hourly and exempt roles. This position involves adhering to employment law regulations and recruiting principles throughout the entire employment lifecycle. The incumbent will focus on specific recruitment and selection activities within designated workgroups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand open positions and guide them through the selection process.
  • Attract candidates by advertising job openings through various channels, including social media and job boards.
  • Develop relationships with educational institutions to enhance the candidate pool.
  • Research and propose new avenues for candidate sourcing.
  • Maintain communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist in the strategic development and implementation of recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Serve as a primary contact for the hiring process.
  • Support management with budget considerations related to recruitment.
  • Deliver presentations to management at all levels.
  • Facilitate interview training and onboarding processes.
  • Contribute to other recruitment activities as necessary.
  • Be prepared to work additional hours when required.
  • Travel may be necessary for career and recruitment events.
  • Standard working hours are generally Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with exceptions for travel.
  • Position may involve extended periods of sitting and computer work in an office setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in recruitment or a related field.
  • Understanding of staffing processes and U.S. employment laws relevant to recruitment.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Proven ability to source candidates through social media and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Experience managing multiple job requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry is preferred.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing, with a maximum weight of 30 lbs.
