Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for orchestrating, guiding, and inspiring teams to attain superior performance and quality in project delivery, ensuring timelines and briefs are met. This role may involve overseeing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various departments including Creative, Planning, Account Management, and Production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership and Coordination – Establish project timelines and resource allocation while ensuring timely delivery of value; lead project meetings and status updates; prepare and disseminate progress reports; identify and manage risks and issues; adjust plans as necessary; and conduct delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Creative Development – Leverage project management expertise to facilitate the creative development process across the agency, ensuring timely and feasible delivery; this includes brief formulation, resource management, and oversight of creative transitions to production.
  • Team Development and Management – Support the growth of the Creative team while holding members accountable for their responsibilities, removing obstacles to their productivity; utilize organizational resources to enhance project capacity; mentor and develop team members, fostering engagement and quality contributions.
  • Process Optimization and Implementation – Administer and promote a well-defined project management framework while advocating for continuous process enhancements to uphold best practices.
  • Mentorship and Team Management – When applicable, oversee Junior to Mid-Level Project Managers; conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide guidance and support, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of creative project lifecycles
  • Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to adapt them to meet diverse project needs.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an advertising agency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and Adobe Workfront is advantageous
