What does a typical day for a Senior Marketing Strategist entail?
The Senior Marketing Strategist collaborates with various teams, including design and digital marketing, for content development and works closely with subject matter experts to ensure appeal to targeted audiences. This role serves as the primary liaison between the marketing team and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
  • Establishing processes with standard operating procedures, guidelines, and objectives that align with corporate strategies and branding. This includes acting as a brand ambassador through coordination and participation in events, calls, and meetings to foster relationship-building and networking with clients or potential clients.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities for growth while leveraging advanced marketing expertise to propose, implement, and lead innovative strategies aimed at expanding reach and enhancing quality engagement with measurable results.
  • Creating, planning, executing, and managing various external marketing materials (e.g., investment postcards, brochures, flyers, presentations) to elevate client experience and brand strategy, producing such materials in-house.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience;
  • A professional project, writing sample, or portfolio;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is preferred;
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter is preferred;
  • Experience with marketing automation and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact is preferred;
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20%, including overnight stays for training, meetings, and other work-related events;
  • A desire to contribute to a growing, global organization with a culture that promotes internal advancement.

Physical Requirements:
  • Constant sedentary work for prolonged periods, with the ability to move and transport up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds. Must be able to travel occasionally, using various modes of transportation. Must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, perceive, and assess marketing operations. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information effectively. Constantly operates and uses computer and other relevant equipment while performing repetitive tasks.
