As a Music Teacher, you will play a critical role in our mission by leading our students in music instruction every day, across every grade level. Our music program is a full-fledged academic subject, not an elective meant to supplement.

**About the Role**

As a Music Teacher at TEP, you will be responsible for teaching music to students in 5th through 8th grade. You will lead our students in singing instruction, basic instrumental instruction, rhythm and musical notation, and music history. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing music curriculum that aligns with our school's mission and values.

**Requirements**

* Minimum of 3 years of lead teaching experience, at least 2 of which must have been in 4th through 9th grade classrooms
* Deeply aligned to TEP's mission of providing a world-class education to historically under-resourced student communities

* Compensation: Master Teachers earn an annual salary of $140,000, with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus
