The Position

At Living Room, we recognize that the front desk serves as the core of our establishment, marking the beginning of every guest's experience. As a Front Desk Host, you will embody the welcoming spirit and be the initial point of contact for members and visitors, ensuring they feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Your role is vital in fostering a warm, inviting environment and delivering outstanding service.

The Front Desk Host is tasked with welcoming guests, overseeing reservations, and providing essential administrative assistance. You will be instrumental in guaranteeing that our members and guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to departure.

  • Guest Reception: Greet all members and guests with warmth, ensuring a hospitable atmosphere. Manage check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Reservations Management: Skillfully oversee reservations, maintain the reservation system, and ensure optimal table occupancy while facilitating a seamless service flow.
  • Phone Management: Respond to incoming calls promptly and professionally, offering information about menus, operational hours, club amenities, and handling reservation inquiries.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative duties, including managing mail, addressing member inquiries, and keeping organized records.
  • Member and Guest Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with members and guests, remembering names and preferences to deliver personalized service. Attend to any special requests with care.
  • Service Coordination: Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure tables are prepared and guests are seated without delay. Monitor the dining area to effectively manage seating and guest flow.
  • Positive Atmosphere: Contribute to a professional and friendly environment for both guests and colleagues. Encourage a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

  • Has experience in managing reservations and handling high-volume phone inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar capacity, ideally within a high-end hospitality setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exudes a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Proficient in reservation systems and basic computer skills.
