Position Summary:
Are you passionate about discovering value in overlooked items? We are looking for a driven E-Commerce Product Specialist to become part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating electronics suitable for resale, assessing their functionality, and creating engaging listings for various online marketplaces. This includes crafting titles, descriptions, and pricing strategies, as well as taking high-quality photographs. Attention to detail, strong writing skills, and a solid understanding of product specifications are essential. The ideal candidate will possess experience in e-commerce, a keen interest in electronics, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will gain extensive knowledge about diverse electronic products and the e-commerce landscape while contributing to a sustainable economy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Item Evaluation: Identify electronics that are appropriate for resale from collected recycling materials.
  • Preparation for Resale: Clean, test, and refurbish electronics to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Platform Analysis: Select the most suitable e-commerce platforms (e.g., eBay, Amazon) for listing based on item characteristics and market trends.
  • Listing Development: Generate appealing listings that include pricing, titles, descriptions, product specifications, and high-resolution images to attract buyers.
  • Listing Management: Post and manage listings on chosen e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimization for visibility.
  • Additional tasks may involve monitoring sales, providing customer support, and handling packaging and shipping.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols within the warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
  • Detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to accurately convey product features.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments.
  • Proficiency in using various computer systems and software.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, particularly with platforms like eBay, is advantageous.
  • Strong familiarity with electronic products, including computers, smartphones, and consumer electronics is a plus.
