Looking for a Product Specialist to join the Incentive Management Product team. IM is our flagship product and part of the Sales Performance Management (SPM) line of products

You will be working closely with customers and partners and also cross functionally with internal stakeholders- Engineering, UX designers, your product management peers, fields teams (sales, support, services and customer success). You will own a product area and have the opportunity to discover issues, solution, pitch and define the end to end experience for where to change and grow the product. We aim to lead our conversations with customers and prospects with the quality of our product'sexperience and impact in their day-to-day.

Duties:

  • Be the voice of the customer - Be the conduit between the customer and external facing teams and engineering.
  • Practice and advocate user-centered & data-validated product design & development.
  • Champion use of data for decision making where possible,
  • Define clear requirements with a focus on scale, consistency and usability.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, PMs, and Eng teams
  • Establish and encourage the practice of measuring outcomes.

Skills needed:

  • Experience - 5 years as a PM (or held other job titles where you demonstrated PM capabilities).
  • Demonstrable user focus in past work
  • Be able to think critically and focus on the why before diving into the what
  • Enthused about challenging status quo and defining new processes (as needed)
  • Not be afraid to try new things and ideas be ready to embrace change and different ways of doing things
  • See the big picture (focus on the outcome, not output) while managing project details in many different stages and levels of ambiguity.
  • Passion and understanding of cloud-based enterprise products.
  • Polished presentation skills and experience presenting to senior Product and Engineering management.
  • A driver who takes initiative and directs to completion
  • Use of data-driven product design decisions a plus.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
