Job Title: Controls and Instrumentation Technician

Insulet Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Controls and Instrumentation Technician to join our team in Acton, MA. As a critical contributor to our mission, you will play a key role in the startup of new Manufacturing Operations and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our assembly equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain process equipment, including PLCs, vision systems, and HMIs.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase machine uptime and reduce production scrap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide technical support to operators and maintenance personnel, and train others on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in working with discrete component assembly equipment controls and instrumentation.
  • Engineering Technician Diploma or Associates Degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI programming, and machine vision systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
