The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the effective management of raw materials, packaging components, and operational supplies that support manufacturing processes. This role includes handling samples for testing and performing shipping and inventory cycle count functions to assist other warehouse operations and plant requirements.

Compliance with all security protocols, environmental health and safety regulations, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect purchased materials (including raw materials, supplies, packaging components, and hazardous substances), ensuring accurate identification and recording of information in inventory control systems.
2. Maintain and generate transactions within the SAP environment, addressing issues related to damaged, short, excess, or missing orders in accordance with the Materials Damages & Claim Procedure.
3. Prepare samples for analysis of received materials and for re-evaluation of existing stock.
4. Organize and store materials according to applicable status and GMP standards, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in work areas.
5. Facilitate the transfer of materials between the warehouse and production lines, adhering to established procedures.
6. Ensure data accuracy in inventory control systems, participating in cycle counting processes as per Inventory Control Procedures. Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with GMPs during the loading of trucks.
7. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including radios and forklifts.
8. Properly handle and dispose of rejected materials, hazardous goods, and regulated waste in designated facilities.

Education and Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Associates degree or trade school preferred.
- Valid driver's license required; acceptable driving record is necessary.
- Forklift operation experience preferred but not mandatory (training available).
- Experience in a regulated environment such as FDA, Pharma, or Bio-Pharma is preferred.

Additional Job Requirements:
- Position involves handling hazardous materials.
