Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs, replacements, or maintenance on water treatment technologies, including high-purity water systems, water softeners, water recycling, and specialized filtration systems.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical problems, either visually or with other diagnostic equipment, and perform tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function.
  • Technical Expertise: Specialize in multiple areas of water treatment technology repair and maintenance, and possess extensive knowledge of the specialized area and general repair.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure that all critical parts are examined and that repairs are completed in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; three (3) years of related experience; plumbing experience is required.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent mechanical repair skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues, and ability to read service and repair manuals.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present, lift 30 lbs. regularly, inspect water treatment technologies to determine repairs needed, and bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
