Water and Wastewater Engineering Specialist

We are currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and preparing construction documents, calculations, specifications, and analytical reports for water and wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution networks, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, site layouts, and drainage systems.
- Executing complex tasks while applying sound judgment in the evaluation and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Acting as the owner's representative, coordinating inspection activities, reviewing shop drawings, and managing construction-related correspondence.
- Facilitating the collaboration of engineers and multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases of project development.
- Conducting design development sessions and preparing contract documents in partnership with other team members.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing water/wastewater and municipal projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant civil engineering software.
- Experience in project engineering and project management.
- Strong leadership and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent technical writing abilities.
- A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.
- A Master's degree is desirable.
- Preference will be given to local candidates.
