Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer within our Water/Wastewater engineering team, you will:
  • Develop proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates, necessitating a solid understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination.
  • Formulate alternative strategies and solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Engage in engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, and construction phases for:
    • Water treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, water wells, and various utility water systems.
    • Municipal and facility master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion projects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships among project teams, ensuring that technical, quality, cost, and client requirements are met.
  • Coordinate efforts with external sub-consultants.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports to convey project information to team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and a commitment to working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • EIT license is required or must be obtained within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in water/wastewater design.
