Currently, we are seeking a Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and preparing construction documents, calculations, specifications, and analytical reports for water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, collection systems, pump stations, and site utilities.
- Executing complex tasks that require sound judgment in the selection and adaptation of standard engineering techniques.
- Acting as the owner's representative, coordinating inspection activities, reviewing shop drawings, and managing construction-related communications.
- Facilitating collaboration among engineers and the multidisciplinary project team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading design development sessions and coordinating contract documentation with other team members.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing water/wastewater and municipal projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant civil engineering software.
- Experience in project engineering and management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent technical writing abilities.
- A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.
- A Master's degree is desirable.
- Preference will be given to local candidates.
