At BluSky, we're seeking a skilled Regional Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our commercial insurance sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with commercial insurance adjusters, consultants, and brokers across the Northeast United States.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and knowledge of the commercial insurance industry to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth. As a Regional Business Development Executive, you will work closely with our leadership team to identify new business opportunities, develop targeted marketing strategies, and build strong relationships with our existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive sales growth and expansion in the assigned region
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with commercial insurance adjusters, consultants, and brokers to generate new business opportunities
  • Work closely with our leadership team to identify market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Present BluSky's services and value proposition to potential clients and partners
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and expansion in a dynamic and competitive market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate BluSky's value proposition
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
