Position Overview:
The Mobile Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the patient journey and operational efficiency.

This role involves articulating and ensuring that patients comprehend their required treatments, the significance of these treatments for their overall well-being, and the financial options available to facilitate their commitment to necessary care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicates the proposed treatment strategy to patients while highlighting the positive attributes of the healthcare provider.
  • Actively listens to patient concerns and offers guidance by employing sound judgment and practical solutions.
  • Provides insights to patients regarding specific strategies that can influence financial and care outcomes.
  • Facilitates patient agreement on financial arrangements necessary for treatment.
  • Assists patients in navigating the office processes to schedule follow-up appointments effectively.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant regulations (including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and internal policies).
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of four years of experience in a dental practice setting.
Familiarity with dental terminology to clarify treatment options for patients.
Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Sales, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Healthcare Practice Management systems.
  • Adept at applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various insurance plans and financial data.
  • Demonstrated success in building productive professional relationships.
  • Capable of working independently and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong patient interaction skills with a proven history of positive patient engagement.
  • Ability to foster effective communication with patients to ensure understanding and acceptance of treatment plans.
