Job Overview

Atlanta Autism Center Inc is seeking a highly skilled Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that families receive the necessary support and resources for their loved ones with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and submit prior authorizations for autism ABA therapy, ensuring timely and accurate processing of eligibility and benefits.
  • Work closely with families to understand their needs and ensure insurance coverage for ongoing treatment services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers, including GAMMIS and CentralReach.
  • Stay up-to-date on Georgia programs, including Katie Beckett, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in ABA Behavioral Health authorizations in the state of Georgia.
  • Proven experience with GAMMIS and CentralReach, including all payer sites and methods of submitting auths, checking status, submitting reconsiderations, and ensuring eligibility and benefits.
  • Bilingual Spanish required.
  • Experience with OT and SLP billing a plus.
