About the JobWe are seeking an accomplished Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for driving culinary excellence, developing talent, and leading by example.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in creating menus, recipes, and presentation styles that exceed customer expectations.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure high-quality food production, paying attention to detail and executing dishes consistently.
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory levels, and kitchen operations, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner, building relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a sous chef or equivalent role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in driving culinary excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
