Strategic Proposal Manager

Position Overview
In this role, you will independently spearhead the creation of strategic proposals in response to moderately complex to highly intricate RFPs. You will act as the proposal strategist, facilitating RFP strategy discussions that involve relevant corporate and field business partners, as well as senior management, to craft responses that are both compliant and persuasive.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee proposal development for RFPs linked to prominent clients and prospects, which are associated with substantial annual revenues.
- Manage communication for proposals involving corporate and sales partners, providing recommendations based on a thorough analysis of RFP specifications, client characteristics, and pertinent data.
- Handle multiple simultaneous RFPs, coordinating external resources and collaborating across divisions to deliver effective, client-centric proposals.
- Ensure strategic oversight of proposals, advising on key messaging and positioning while continuously enhancing proposal content.
- Collaborate with corporate and division partners to formulate strategies, key messages, and engaging proposal content that aligns with revenue objectives.
- Lead and participate in project meetings, articulating ideas and concerns transparently with stakeholders while balancing their objectives.
- Assess and interpret RFP requirements and effectively utilize client-mandated systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead projects under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional time management abilities, with a knack for prioritizing and communicating effectively amidst competing tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in proofreading and editing.
- Able to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in word processing and desktop publishing software.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is between $60,000 and $103,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role may also include eligible bonuses and commissions.
